About Motorcycle Ride for Dad - Fort McMurray

A non-profit organization headed by an all volunteer committee that raises funds for the fight against prostate cancer. 100% of all funds raised from rider pledges stays in the Edmonton area, and goes towards prostate cancer research, education, and awareness.

The Motorcycle Ride for Dad began in Ottawa in 2000. Garry Janz, along with the support of the Ottawa Police Association, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation and a handful of volunteers, organized that first Ride.

Since then, the Ride has been raising money for prostate cancer research and education. Men, women and children rally each year to support the Ride in staggering numbers. Our event gets even more exciting as new Ride for Dad Chapters continue to join the fight against prostate cancer in other Canadian cities.
