Overview

Safe Comunity Wood Buffalo hosts an annual program for ALL local grade 9 youth and we need YOUR help!

The P.A.R.T.Y. Program (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth) is an international program that we execute each year at the Royal Canadian Legion. This program helps to educate youth in our community about the dangers of Distracted, Drugged & Impaired Driving. This program creates a huge impact and helps to curve the thoughts and behaviors of our youth to keep them safe and help guide them in making smarter life choices.

If you are interested in helping out with the mock collision that we set up in the morning aspect of our program and want to show off some of your amazing acting skills, we want YOU! There are several positions that we are looking to fill for our actors and actresses including the following:

Impaired/Drugged/Distracted Driver, Deceased Passengers & a Life-Threatening Injured Driver.

All directions on your role will be provided upon a formal meeting, approval, and acceptance of the position.

About Safe Community Wood Buffalo

Our non-profit organization strives to make the Wood Buffalo region the safest place to live, work and play in all of Canada. We plan to reach this goal through education and awareness surrounding child and youth safety in a variety of topics from car seats to young drivers and even seniors with slips and falls prevention.

With volunteers in our community, we can reach so many more! Contact us to find a volunteer position for you today!
